My Apologies to Moms

Huh-hmm (my attempt at throat clearing), and now for a message I've been meaning to write for a while:
I owe moms everywhere a big apology. I really thought women exaggerated the woes of pregnancy, maybe for entertainment value, maybe to help persuade their husbands to do things for them, maybe because they always naturally focused on the negative, maybe because they just like drama... Well, NOW I KNOW everything they said is true, unexaggerated, exactly as it happened to them. It doesn't need to be exaggerated because the truth about pregnancy IS entertaining. I also had a couple of other humorous misconceptions, thinking that I was immune to sickness because 1) I was in shape and ate well before pregnancy; 2) I have a tendancy toward mind-over-matter and thought optimism would steer it off. Go ahead, you can laugh...

I will not take stories and cautions about the third trimester and labor so lightly, nor will I judge you for them... though, I do feel another piece of Humble Pie coming soon for judgments on parenting.... my apologies in advance... Moms deserve medals, especially mine!
